The African Alliance for Electronic Commerce is a framework for exchange and sharing on trade facilitation

The single window stimulates the development of inter and intra regional trade in Africa and enables companies to be more competitive in the markets and ready to meet the challenges of globalization.

The objectives of the African Alliance for e-commerce:

Establish a structure facilitating dialogue and cooperation between members, within organizations and structures that wish to join the Alliance.
Define common objectives on the challenges of electronic commerce in general and of a single window in particular.
Set up a one-stop-shop experience exchange platform in Africa with the aim of providing countries in the region with a reference framework.
Establish a competence framework to help African countries in the development of their single window projects.
Set up a framework for sharing resources and skills to facilitate the establishment of a regional single window.
Contribute to the representation of Africa in international bodies and contribute to the development of the concept at the global level, but especially in Africa.
Apply international standards relating to the establishment of one-stop shops and promote them in Africa a movement to ensure interoperability with other regions of the world without considerable efforts.
Promote regional and inter-regional one-stop-shop cooperation in Africa.
Be a focal point for development partners and international institutions interested in promoting a single window in Africa.
Develop closer working relationships between Alliance members.
